    Best on the beach!!  Try the deep fried dill pickle!!  Yummy  no oily fish or chips in this cozy place.  My family always eats here.  Staff are friendly.  Keep up the excellent work guys!!

    Footnote time to open on Sunday morning is WRONG on the site it is 11:30 not 11:00.

    This is a cozy hole in the wall where many regulars dine here and it is highly recommended by local shop proprietors. Montgomery's is family owned and the servers are friendly and attentive. I ordered the 2 piece cod and chips and chocolate milkshake. To cut down on plastic, cardboard straws are being used! My shake was very thick, chocolatey, without being too sweet.  The fish was lightly battered and flaky on the inside and fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.  Truly a stellar lunch!

    Best fish and chips... hand down. My family eats here every trip back to Vancouver and use to eat here for 40 years prior. Fish is fresh with a perfect deep fry.. no hard coating. Chips are always cooked to perfection...no bottom of fryer here. Coleslaw is perfect with fish and chips.
    This place has been here forever and so don't expect fancy decor. That is part of the charm with the same pics and hockey stick on the wall.
    Will be back next year for my fish and chip fix

    This place is SO flippn cute and cozy, the owner hand cuts the fish, and for people who are watching their weight, he can also GRILL YOUR FISH  Best fish and chips hands down. I hate super oily/greasy and cake like deep fried batter, but Montgomery's is light and SO tasty. 10/10 would recommend!

    We love stopping here when we are on vacation.
    Great service and good portions!
    We had the cod + fries and fried pickles.
    Ask for tarter sauce (not packaged) and sit outside & enjoy the sunshine.
